Hi all Class Mates
Capt Raj intends to conduct a retest due to the high Percentage of failure in the last ICA.
Pls study the following tips that he has provided;
1)
Definitionsa) latitude
b) longtitude
c) Rhumbline
d) D'Lat
e) D'Long
f) Variation
g) Deviation
h) Great Circle
i) Small Circle
2) Plane Sailing - Dep = D'Long x Cos m Lat
3) Parallel Sailing - Dep = D'Long x Cos Lat
4) Mercator Sailing - Distance = D'Lat x sec course
Tan course = D'Long/DMP
Finding DMP.
For defintions, he may choose to give any 5 or all of the defintions.
and one questions on each sailing will be tested as well.
